Do you feel a special affinity towards one of our programmes or causes we serve? The Women's Foundation welcomes individual and group fundraising efforts to help us achieve our goal of brighter prospects for women and girls in Hong Kong. Fundraising initiatives that individuals and teams have organised in the past range from receptions featuring a guest speaker, to the sale of unique merchandise in aid of TWF to sponsored sporting challenges.
Fundraising Guide
If you're passionate about improving the lives of women and girls, take inspiration from our Fundraising Guide designed to help you run a successful fundraising campaign and have fun in the process.
Individual Fundraisers
The Women's Foundation is proud to be the beneficiary of Rachel Jacqueline's Run Rae Run sponsored sporting challenges. Rachel ran 100 kilometres in one day to support TWF's T.E.E.N. Programme – the funds raised allowed our TEENs from under-privileged families to participate in outdoors activities, completing physical challenges they never thought possible.
Corporate Fundraisers
If your company's mission aligns with The Women’s Foundation's goals to improve gender equality for women from all walks of life, and you can help us raise funds through a corporate event or initiative, we would love to hear from you. In the past, TWF has been the charity beneficiary of corporate events like a Hogan Lovell's Breaking Barriers Cocktail. TWF is also proud to have been the selected charity partner for brands such as Nancy Gonzales, Tory Burch and Jurlique who have raised funds for TWF through sales of limited edition merchandise or speaker events featuring spokespeople for the particular brand.
Academic Fundraisers
If you are a secondary school or university student and looking for a way to fundraise for women’s causes, we would love to hear from you. TWF was fortunate to be selected as the charity beneficiary of a HKU production of The Vagina Monologues in 2013 and of Shatin College's Fashion Walk in 2014.
Association Fundraisers
In 2013, TWF was one of the charity beneficiaries of the FABBAS (Fund Managers’, Asian Bankers’ and Brokers’ Awards) annual fundraising event.
