At the Cannes Lions Awards!

I’m honoured to be serving with my amazing fellow jury members to judge this year's Cannes Glass Lions! The Glass Lion recognises work that implicitly or explicitly addresses issues of gender inequality or prejudice, through the conscious representation of gender in advertising.

Thank you Madeline Di Nonno, President of this year’s Cannes Glass Lions, for inviting me to be a jury member! 

With Josy Paul, Head of BBDO India, who was responsible for last year's Glass Lions Grand Prix winner for Touch the Pickle and this year's Glass Lion for Ariel's #ShareTheLoad initiative!

During the press conference, Madeline noted: “Advertising is the original storyteller and a powerful medium to spotlight gender bias.”

With the inspiring Madonna Badger, fellow Glass Lions juror, who is leading #WomenNotObjects, a very aligned project with TWF’s She Objects. Madonna urges ad sector to stop objectification and embrace the positive portrayal of women because “advertising has so much power to do good, it should not do harm”.
