Many industries - even sectors that have been traditional male bastions - are now focusing on how to attract, retain and promote women into leadership roles.  Numerous studies have found a positive correlation between gender diversity at the top and better performance, more effective decision-making and a greater affinity with the company's customer base.

But how do we avoid diversity leading to compromise and mediocrity, does unconscious bias training really work, what can organisations do to encourage women to "lean in", and how can they avoid a male backlash over advancement programmes for women and engage men as champions for change?

Su-Mei Thompson, CEO of The Women's Foundation, Founder of the 30% Club HK and a Member of the Equal Opportunities Commission, will share her insights on these issues.

Hosted by the Human Resources Committee and the Women of Influence Committee
