Caroline Erisman, Head of School at Dana Hall, will present on helping teen girls to be their best.
Caroline’s talk will cover:
- How to empower girls and help them find their voices
- How to align achievement and well-being in girls
- What girls need to know in order to succeed
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Caroline Erisman is the 10th Head of School at Dana Hall, an all-girls independent boarding and day school for grades 6-12. Previously, she was Associate Head of School at The Hewitt School, an all-girls K-12 school in New York City. She is currently a Trustee at Beacon Academy in Boston, and has also served as a Trustee of the Shady Hill School in Cambridge, Mass and The Town School in New York City. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from all-women’s Wellesley College with a bachelor’s degree in classical civilisation, Caroline went on to earn a master’s degree in curriculum and teaching from Columbia University’s Teacher’s College and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
All proceeds from the event will go towards She Objects, a new bilingual documentary by The Women’s Foundation that will explore the gender stereotypes created and exacerbated by the media. The film will feature stories from across the generations and interviews with female leaders, artists, activists and academics, and will underpin a media literacy campaign that is expected to roll out across schools in Hong Kong during the 2015-2016 school year.

TWFHK will not collect any personal information that identifies a visitor to our website (or associated websites) (“Website”) unless specified otherwise (for example in the sign up to an e-newsletter, event registration, donation, download or access to research reports or other tools or resources). Your visit to our Website will record the server information including IP address and the pages visited. Such information will be used to prepare aggregate information about the number of visitors to the Website and general statistics on usage patterns.

Access and correction of personal data
1. The provision of your personal data to TWFHK is on voluntary basis.
2. In accordance with the Ordinance, you may request access to your personal data held by TWFHK. A charge may be imposed to cover the cost of photocopying personal data at the rate approved by the Secretary for Financial Services and Treasury.
3. You are entitled to request access to and correct your personal data held by TWFHK, and request us to cease to use of your personal data at any time without charge.
4. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the marketing communications or contacting TWFHK at info@twfhk.org with your full name and contact details.
5. If you are in a EU Member State, you have the right, subject to certain limitations or restrictions, under the data protection laws in the EU to:
(a) request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data;
(b) obtain restriction of processing or to object to processing of your personal data; and
