As you will see from the news round-up below, TWF has been involved in many IWD celebrations including our own IWD gala lunch last Friday. A huge thank you to everyone who came to the lunch or otherwise supported the event which raised over HK$1 million for TWF and our work.
With International Women's Day just around the corner, we would love to hear your views on what you think are the most important issues preventing women and girls from achieving their full potential today and what can be done to drive positive change.
TWF was proud to partner with HKU on a talk by Jackson Katz on: "Engendering a Culture of Prevention on Campuses: The Bystander Intervention Model". Jackson shared his work on building a culture of prevention of harassment and violence on university campuses in the US.
With the conclusion of this year's One Billion Rising global campaign to end violence against women and girls this past weekend, the excitement is building as Hong Kong, like the rest of the world, gears up for International Women's Day on March 8!
